Start your Lapland journey by a husky raid. An exhilarating adventure that takes you through the breathtaking landscape of Lapland on a sled pulled by a team of energetic huskies. This activity is perfect for travelers looking for an authentic way to experience the winter wilderness and the thrill of mushing.

During a husky raid, you'll have the opportunity to drive your own sled or ride as a passenger with an experienced musher. The route typically takes you through snowy forests, over frozen lakes, and past breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

First, you would receive a safety briefing and instructions on how to operate a snowmobile. Then, you would suit up in warm clothing and gear, including a helmet and goggles. Once you are prepared, you would hop on your snowmobile and set off on a guided tour through the snowy landscape of Nuorgam. As you ride, you will have the opportunity to take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding wilderness, including forests, frozen rivers, and possibly even wildlife. The tour may include stops along the way for breaks, photo opportunities, and possibly even a hot drink or snack. At the end of the safari, you will return to the starting point, where you can warm up and debrief before heading home.

After the hike, you'll take a break for a delicious lunch, either at a local restaurant or a scenic outdoor spot. Then it's time to embark on an aurora hunting adventure by car. After the sled ride, you would head over to the Kirkenes Snowhotel, which is a hotel made entirely out of snow and ice. The Snowhotel is open during the winter months, and visitors can stay in one of the hotel's cozy ice rooms or igloos. While there, you can explore the hotel's ice sculptures and possibly even enjoy a drink at the ice bar.
